"All wounds heal with time". Well, not really. For Gbolahan, his wounds are almost a part of who he is. At 27, he’s a respectable shoemaker in Lagos, Nigeria, working with his hands, creating and fixing. But managing a business and sickle cell are two different things.
“Managing it… it’s not easy,” he says simply.
