OUR BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT (BMT) CENTRE OFFICIALLY OPENED BY THE GOVERNOR!

The Board, Management and Staff of Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria, wish to express our profound gratitude to His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for the historic official opening of the Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria / LUTH Bone Marrow Transplant Centre on Thursday, 27th January, 2022. We appreciate your people-centred leadership Sir!

We thank the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi for very ably representing Mr. Governor.

This is a dream come true for us and a beacon of hope for the Sickle Cell Community, as we now boast of curative treatment for Sickle Cell Disorder for Lagosians in Lagos; for Nigerians in Nigeria and for the sickle cell community across Africa and beyond.

We say a BIG “THANK YOU” to all our donors – both corporate and individual – we appreciate you all for without you, there will be no BMT Centre to speak about.
