Subsidised Medical Treatment & Surgeries Fundraiser provides critical financial support to 1,000 people living with Sickle Cell Disorder who require essential medical treatments, surgical interventions, and specialised care to manage serious complications associated with the condition. For many people living with SCD, complications such as avascular necrosis, severe bone and joint damage, chronic pain, and other progressive health challenges can significantly affect mobility, independence, quality of life, and overall wellbeing. Procedures such as hip replacement surgery and other essential interventions can offer life-changing relief and restore the ability to live more active and productive lives, but the high cost of these treatments places them beyond the reach of many affected families.
Through this initiative, Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria seeks to subsidise and fund critical treatments and surgeries for vulnerable individuals who would otherwise be unable to access the care they urgently need. Your donation can help restore mobility, reduce suffering, and give people living with Sickle Cell Disorder the opportunity to live healthier, more independent lives.
